On A6 Audi, as well as on other cars brake pads and disks are an expendable material, and demand replacement. Now I will tell you as it is correct to change them. For a start we remove a wheel. Further we turn off 2 bolts which hold a caliper on a brake plate. Further we unscrew the central nut on a nave and we remove a brake plate. After all procedures we assemble everything upside-down, but already with new brake plates and pads. For descriptive reasons you look video on replacement of brake plates and pads at Audi A6 C6.
