On A6 C5 Audi, as well as on other cars brake shoes and disks are an expendable material, and periodically demand replacement. Now I will tell you as it is correct to change them. For a start we remove a wheel. Further we turn off 2 bolts which hold a caliper on a brake plate. Further we unscrew the central nut on a nave and we remove a brake plate.
